Career Advice and Counseling
Artistic careers require a great amount of training, experience, and passion. When pursuing a career in the arts, it is important for students to become involved in their surrounding arts community, to maintain contact with their arts faculty and staff, and to develop extensive professional contacts in their field. Students are encouraged to engage with the offices below for support and guidance.
The Office of Career Strategy (OCS) offers career advising, professional school advising, employment and internship opportunities, and career development resources. The office works with students and alums of Yale College, Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and postdoctoral scholars to clarify career aspirations, identify opportunities, and offer support at every stage of career development.
Common Good & Creative Careers (CGCC) supports Yale students interested in pursuing careers that make a difference and encourage their creativity.
Yale Cross Campus is a networking and mentoring website that connects Yale students with alumni who share their interests and with each other.
