A recently-preserved documentary made at Yale about the New York art scene screens with Daisies, an irreverent Czech New Wave supernova of Pop Art, satire, tabletop prancing, and rebellion. “One of the great outpourings of cinematic invention” (Richard Brody), Daisies is “an aggressive feminist farce” (Jonathan Rosenbaum) “as subversive as it is hilarious” (Kate Muir).
