Stephen Scher and James Ivory in person! Two filmmakers rediscover and reimagine documentaries they embarked upon decades before. Scher tempts us with a bygone restaurant scene in Paris, while Ivory turns his 1960s footage of Kabul and Bamiyan into an “essay on history, memory and the vanities of civilization-building” (Olaf Möller).
