The first event in the Spring 2021 CCAM Filmmaker Workshop Series: THE EDIT.
FilmNet brings to Yale students THE EDIT—a three-part workshop series that seeks to teach and inspire students interested in filmmaking on the art of capturing and editing both still and moving visual images. Dispersed over the coming weeks will be THE EDIT I: Photography; THE EDIT II: VIDEO; THE EDIT III: Sound.
The first of the series, THE EDIT I is a photography workshop; students will be familiarized with the skills which are required to take and apply basic edits to still images. The guest speaker leading this event will be award-winning Pakistani photographer, Tapu Javeri who is acclaimed for his street, art and fashion photography.
